Forrest B.C. is considering organising a trip to Haydock for a day at the races. The proposed trip would take place on Saturday the 7th of July. This is when one of their main events are held, with races starting at 2pm and ending at 5:45pm. Costs would vary depending on how many people attend, but for a group would vary from £15 to £17 (this is for decent access to the enclosure and bars). If there is sufficient interest we could potentially look into organising coaches from the arena. It is estimated that the total price shouldn\'t be more than £25. If anyone is interested please let Kath Orrell know ASAP.
On Saturday 16th June we have organised a local walk starting from Bolton Arena. Everyone of all ages are welcome, members, juniors, family and friends. Meet at Bolton Arena car park for 9am on Saturday 16th June with your walking boots, food and suitable clothing for a full day out including drive to the location, walk, lunch break, and hopefully ending up somewhere near Ingleton for tea. Please let David Travis know ASAP if you plan on attending so that we do not leave anyone behind.
Finally, I am sorting out a date and venue for the forthcoming AGM and will advise you shortly.
